Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 small flour tortillas
- Cooking spray

Instructions
Prepare the Beef Filling:
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add 1 pound of ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir in 1/2 cup diced onions and cook for another 3-4 minutes until soft.
- Drain any excess fat and set aside.
Assemble the Flautas:
- Lay out 8 small flour tortillas on a clean surface.
- Spoon 2 tablespoons of the beef filling onto each tortilla.
- Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded cheddar cheese over the beef.
- Roll the tortillas tightly, starting from one end.
- Secure each flauta with a toothpick if needed.
Cook in the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the flautas seam-side down in the basket, ensuring they don’t touch.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
