  • 6 tostada shells or baked corn tortillas for gluten-free
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or dairy-free alternative
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or vegan alternative
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese or vegan cheese sauce
  • Taco seasoning, store-bought or homemade

Variations:

  • Substitute ground beef with black beans for vegetarians.
  • Use dairy-free cheese and sour cream for a vegan version.
  • Opt for gluten-free tortillas if necessary.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and a splash of water. Simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
  4. Lay a large tortilla flat. Add a scoop of seasoned beef to the center.
  5. Top beef with a tostada shell. Spread sour cream over the shell.
  6. Add lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese on top of the sour cream.
  7. Drizzle nacho cheese over the veggies.
  8. Place a smaller tortilla or cut a piece of another large tortilla to cover the fillings.
  9. Fold the edges of the large tortilla towards the center, creating a hexagonal shape.
  10. Place the Crunchwrap seam-side down in the air fryer basket.
  11. Air fry for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  12. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
