Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound fingerling potatoes, washed and halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon rosemary, dried or fresh (optional for added flavor)
Substitutions:
- Olive oil can be swapped for avocado oil for a higher smoke point.
- For a spicy kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of paprika or chili powder.
Instructions
- Wash the potatoes. Ensure all fingerling potatoes are thoroughly rinsed and dried before cutting them in half lengthwise.
- Preheat the air fryer. Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Allow it to heat up for about 3-5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
- Season the potatoes. In a mixing bowl, combine the halved fingerling potatoes with olive oil, sea salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, and rosemary. Toss until the potatoes are evenly coated.
- Arrange the potatoes. Place the seasoned fingerling potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure they’re not overcrowded to allow for proper air circulation.
- Cook the fingerling potatoes. Air fry the potatoes for about 20-25 minutes. Halfway through the cooking time, shake the basket or use tongs to flip the potatoes to ensure they crisp up evenly on all sides.
- Check for doneness. The air fryer fingerling potatoes should be golden brown and crispy on the outside, with a fork-tender interior. If needed, add a few more minutes to get the desired crispiness.
- Serve immediately. Enjoy your fingerling potatoes in air fryer as a delicious side dish to your main course. They’re best served hot, straight from the air fryer.
Notes
Remember, cooking times may vary slightly based on the air fryer model and the size of the potatoes, so adjust as needed.
