Ingredients
- 2 cups gluten-free flour
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Optional toppings:
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon dried garlic flakes
- 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
Instructions
1. Mix Dry Ingredients: Combine 2 cups of gluten-free flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt in a large bowl. Stir well.
2. Add Wet Ingredients: Add 1 cup of Greek yogurt to the bowl. Mix with a fork until it starts to form a dough.
3. Knead Dough: Lightly flour your hands and a surface. Knead the dough gently for a few minutes until smooth. If it’s sticky, add a bit more flour.
4. Shape the Bagels: Divide the dough into 4 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball, then poke a hole in the center to make a bagel shape.
5. Prepare for Air Frying: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Beat 1 egg in a small bowl for an egg wash.
6. Brush and Top: Place the bagels on parchment paper. Brush each with the egg wash. Add toppings like sesame seeds or poppy seeds if desired.
7. Air Fry Bagels: Place the bagels in the air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.
8. Cool and Enjoy: Let the bagels cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Handle the gluten-free dough gently to avoid overworking it and ensure a good texture.
