Air Fryer Loaded Nachos

I’m excited to share one of my favorite easy air fryer recipes: air fryer loaded nachos. These nachos are not only delicious but also incredibly simple to make, making them perfect for quick snacks or air fryer appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces tortilla chips
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 pound ground beef (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
  • 1/2 cup black beans, drained and rinsed (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (for serving)
  • 1/4 cup salsa (for serving)
  • 1/4 cup guacamole (for serving)

Instructions

1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.

2. Prepare the Basket: Line the air fryer basket with aluminum foil for easier cleanup. Ensure the foil does not block the air vents.

3. Layer the Chips: Place a single layer of tortilla chips in the air fryer basket.

4. Add Cheese and Toppings: Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the chips. Add your preferred toppings such as black beans, diced tomatoes, and jalapeños.

5. Second Layer: Add another layer of chips and repeat the cheese and toppings. This ensures even layering and melting.

6. Air Fry: Cook at 350°F for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning.

7. Serve: Carefully remove the nachos from the air fryer and top with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole. Enjoy your quick snack!
