Instructions

01: Marinating the Chicken

  • Combine 1 cup of buttermilk, 1/4 cup of pickle juice, and 1/2 cup of buffalo sauce in a large bowl.
  • Add the chicken breasts and ensure they are fully submerged.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors soak in.

  • Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off excess liquid.
  • Dredge the chicken first in flour, then in the remaining buffalo sauce, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Place the coated chicken pieces in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook at the pre-set air fryer temperature for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Check that the chicken is golden brown and cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.
