Ingredients
- 1 package frozen veggie egg rolls (brands like Pagoda, Tai Pei, or Minh work great)
- Optional: dipping sauces such as sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, or hoisin sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 3 minutes. Preheating ensures the egg rolls cook evenly.
2. Prepare the egg rolls: Remove the frozen veggie egg rolls from their packaging. There’s no need to thaw them.
3. Arrange the egg rolls: Place the egg rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not touching or overcrowded. Overcrowding can lead to uneven cooking.
4. Cook the egg rolls: Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 10 minutes. Halfway through cooking, around the 5-minute mark, use tongs to flip each egg roll. This helps them cook evenly on all sides.
5. Check for doneness: After 10 minutes, check if the egg rolls are golden brown and crispy. If they need more time, cook in 1-2 minute increments until they reach the desired crispiness.
6. Serve immediately: Once done, carefully remove the egg rolls from the air fryer using tongs. Let them cool for a minute or two before serving.
Notes
Each air fryer model might cook slightly differently, so keep an eye on your egg rolls to prevent overcooking. Also, always refer to the cooking instructions on the package for the best results.
