Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes. This step ensures that the green beans start cooking immediately and evenly, which is crucial for the perfect texture.

2. Trim the green beans by cutting off the ends. Wash them thoroughly and pat them dry.

3. In a mixing bowl, combine the green beans with 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 2 minced garlic cloves. Toss well to season the green beans evenly.

4. Place the seasoned green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes.

5. Shake the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking. This helps the green beans cook green beans uniformly and get that nice, slight crispiness.
