Ingredients
- 1 pack Trader Joe’s BBQ Teriyaki Chicken (main ingredient)
- 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 1/4 cup Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Cooking spray (optional, for extra crispiness)
Instructions
1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (204°C). Preheating is essential to ensure even cooking and crispy results.
2. Remove the Trader Joe’s Teriyaki Chicken from its packaging and place the pieces in the air fryer basket. Arrange them in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap.
3. Place the chicken pieces in the air fryer basket. Make sure they’re not overlapping to guarantee each piece cooks thoroughly and gets that perfect texture.
4. Air fry the chicken for 15 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking process. The exact time may vary depending on your air fryer model and the thickness of the chicken pieces.
5. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the thickest part of the chicken. It should reach 165°F (74°C) for safe consumption.
7. Once fully cooked, carefully remove the chicken from the air fryer basket using tongs. Transfer it to a clean plate or serving dish.
8. Once the chicken is cooked, if your pack came with a teriyaki sauce, you can either toss the chicken in the sauce or serve it on the side.
Notes
While air frying, it’s crucial to keep an eye on the chicken and adjust the cooking time as needed. Every air fryer model may have slightly different cooking times and temperatures. I recommend checking the chicken a few minutes before the recommended time to ensure it doesn’t overcook or dry out.
