Air Fryer Garlic Mushrooms

Who knew that creating a delicious side dish could be so easy? Air fryer garlic mushrooms require just a few simple steps: mix the mushrooms with garlic and oil, then air fry at 375°F for 10 minutes. It’s quick, easy, and delivers fantastic flavor every time.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

  • 1 lb (450 grams) of mushrooms, cleaned and halved
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

1. Clean the Mushrooms: Gently wipe the mushrooms with a damp cloth or paper towel to remove any dirt. Avoid washing them under water as they can absorb moisture and become soggy.

5. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to heat up for about 3 minutes.

6. Cook the Mushrooms: Transfer the marinated mushrooms to the air fryer basket. Spread them out evenly; do not overcrowd the basket.

7. Shake the Basket: Cook for 10 minutes. Halfway through, carefully remove the basket and give it a good shake to help the mushrooms cook evenly.

8. Check for Doneness: After 10 minutes, check if the mushrooms are tender and golden. If not, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your specific model of air fryer. Always check the mushrooms toward the end of cooking to ensure they do not overcook.
